Availability and Make a Booking

Please note credit cards are only accepted when making online bookings. To make cash payments for bookings, do it at our reception.

Booking via Email or Calling

To speed up the booking process, please provide us the following via email, or by calling us:

  • Your First and Last Name
  • Dates of stay
  • Number of nights
  • Number of people
  • Room type
  • Contact number/email. (If providing your email, your booking confirmation will be sent to your valid email address)
  • Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA)
  • Name on Credit card
  • Credit card number
  • Type of Credit Card (Visa or Mastercard)
  • Expiry Date on Credit Card
  • Place Credit Card was Issued
  • Comments or Special Requests

Checking-In

Check-in is from 11am. Please advise us of your estimated time of arrival. Must produce photo ID at check-in that matches the guest name on the booking, and that we will take and retain a copy of this ID to accompany the guest's signed registration. Walk-in guests must also produce photo ID at check-in. We may require guest(s) to provide a security deposit at check-in to guarantee payment of any incidental charges.

Check-Out Time

Check-out is by 10am. If you require late check-out, please discuss with us directly. An additional charge may apply.

Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA)

Please note that the accuracy of your Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA) given to us is important but however, in the rare occasions when the office is unattended upon your arrival, kindly contact our head office at +64 3 960 8018, or +64 21 232 7080 by call or through text message for us to guide you to check-in. Our roaming hospitality manager would be with you within 15 minutes.

Rooms for Long Term Available:

Yes there are rooms available for long term.
Our long term stays is minimum of 4 weeks contact us for an appointment
 

 

An alternative way of making a booking is by using the following Booking Calendar

Click on:

  1. the name of room for description.
  2. the drop down menu on the top left corner of this Calendar to select the month and year you wish to make your booking
  3. any boxes below the dates to make your booking for your selected room type

Non-Refundable Deposit for Confirmed Reservations Policy

Please note credit cards are accepted when making online and/or phone bookings. 5% card fee applicable for all payments by credit card (Visa, Mastercard). Make sure that you have your ID with you to check in.

Once a booking has been made, guests will need to contact the property to arrange pre-payment. Failure to do so may result in the cancellation of your booking with the deposit (minimum 50% of booking) remaining non-refundable. The 48 hours prior to check-in cancellation policy does not apply.

For phone, email bookings and reservations the 50% non-refundable deposit applies.

We will respond to your online or telephone enquiry as soon as possible, however bookings are not confirmed until credit card details are received with full booking or deposit paid.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations or changes to bookings must be made at least 48 hours prior to the check in date and time or you will be charged the full amount of the booking. This cancellation or changes policy only applies to online bookings - example Wotif, BookIt, Hostelbookers.

For phone, email bookings and reservations the 50% non-refundable deposit applies (the 48 hours prior to check-in cancellation policy does not apply).

We understand that sometimes circumstances change, and you may want to cancel or change the dates of this booking. If this happens, here's what you need to do:

Changing the dates you stay
  1. Check the Cancellation Policy supplied by Shirley Ecolodge Hostel Accommodation above to see if they allow changes to bookings for this room
  2. Remember that there is a $25.00 administration charge for cancellations or changes, in addition to any penalty from the Shirley Ecolodge Hostel Accommodation shown in the Cancellation Policy above
  3. Check if Shirley Ecolodge Hostel Accommodation has rooms available for your new dates
  4. Call our office on one of the numbers listed above to change the booking and process any extra payment or refund necessary
  5. We will email you to confirm the new dates of your booking

Irregardless of reasons the online booking engine(s) have been automatically updated which deny other potential guests from making the booking for the same night. Therefore you shall be liable for the additional night(s) provided we have available room(s) upon your arrival. Booking and Cancellation Policy applies.

Cancelling your booking
  1. Check the Cancellation Policy supplied by Shirley Ecolodge Hostel Accommodation above to see if they will allow you to cancel this booking
  2. Remember that there is a $25.00 administration charge for cancellations or changes, in addition to any penalty from the Shirley Ecolodge Hostel Accommodation shown in the Cancellation Policy above
  3. Call our office on one of the numbers listed above to have the booking cancelled
  4. We will process any refund due and send you an email to confirm the cancellation if necessary.
