Welcome to THE CLOSEST MOST AFFORDABLE BUDGET ACCOMMODATION to the Riccarton Rotary Sunday Market at Riccarton Park Racecourse, Christchurch Airport and City Centre! We also provide affordable transport service within Christchurch. Vacation or Staycation - we are the perfect choice! With just about 8 minutes drive to the Christchurch Airport, makes us the only and pioneer Christchurch Airport Backpackers/mini motel/youth hostel located in the airport precinct, mega malls, business and service centres.
Racecourse Backpackers Hostel - the former Racecourse Horse Stables in Christchurch, New Zealand during the 1960's. Racecourse Backpackers Hostel was opened in the early 2000's with the goal of creating a home away from home like haven for our guests! Operated by knowledgeable staff with a foundation in the Real Estate Industry that is positive, professional and solution-driven to provide the very best service.
Situated between Racecourse Road and Epsom Road. The main building was built with classic solid triple bricks double storey structure. The backpacker/motel styled units were constructed using comtemporary building materials, formerly horse stables. Recently spectacularly refurbished without losing the charm of our buildings. The Racecourse Backpackers Hostel offers quality Christchurch backpacker and youth hostel accommodation at affordable prices.
Stables converted to backpacker rooms in 2003. Has not been a motel. Many improvements made since our organisation was formed with this property acquired as a backpacker, youth hostel, budget hotel in 2009, after the conversion process.
