History

Racecourse Backpackers Hostel was the former Racecourse Horse Stables during the 1960's in Christchurch, New Zealand.

In 2003, these horse stables had been remarkably refurbished and revived into its present backpackers/mini motel styled/budget hotel accommodation. In 2009, the accommodation was further redecorated and Racecourse Backpackers Hostel was born. The Racecourse Backpackers Hostel is the closest budget accommodation to the Riccarton Rotary Sunday Market and the Christchurch Airport. It is also an up and coming affordable accommodation for locals and independent travellers.
